Tallow is a deeply nourishing fat rendered from grass‑fed and finished beef. It has been used for centuries in traditional skincare because it closely resembles the natural oils (sebum) found in human skin, making it highly compatible, absorbent, and effective.

Why did my tallow change texture?
Because our products are free from stabilizers and synthetic additives, natural temperature changes can cause variations in texture. Whipped products may deflate slightly in heat, while balms may firm up in cooler weather. This is a natural characteristic of real, minimally processed skincare.
